Gaamdhoka Dhara

It is situated at Gaamdhoka, hence the name is Ghaamdhoka Dhara. The construction of this stone tap dates back in Lichchhavi period. The renovation work has been supported by Japanese Organization, JUSAN. It is of a unique type as the outlet of this tap consists of mouth of a cow which is rarely found in Kathmandu valley. The beautiful surrounding wall with the carved brick makes it even more attractive. The flow of water in this tap occurs twice a day: 4 am to 6am in the morning and 4pm to 6pm in the evening.
