Basukinaag

The statue of Basukinaag is situated at Gaamdhoka. It is a tank like structure but prayed as Basukinaag. Previously, this statue was used to store water. According to local people, the lord of water known as Jarankhu (huge embody of powerful water god) in Newari community is believed to have been seated on the water surface. At present, there is no water, but local community worship the statue every day and pray for water availability during severe droughts.
